Listen to Jim on Pandora at “Jim Altamore Radio” and on the Sinatra channel “The Chairman’s Lounge” on the SiriusXM APP
Jim Altamore has been the voice of Sinatra, in Chazz Palminteri’s one-man play, “A Bronx Tale”, for the past 17 years, on Broadway, and on tour
Jim Altamore is a versatile singer of Popular Standards from what is known today as the Great American Songbook. Born in Brooklyn, Jim grew up during a time when the music world was dramatically changing. However, Jim’s family always appreciated the true American music of Jazz and Swing. At a young age, Jim’s dad kept him in touch with the great singers of his era like Sinatra, Ella and Bennett. Jim’s indoctrination in the world of music started on the right path… and it never changed!
Jim lives by the motto: “Too much Basie? There’s no such thing”.
